In March, the School District of Manatee County Office of Communications launched a recognition program to support employees who make an exceptional contribution and inspire positive teamwork.
Dozens of nominations were received from K-12 schools and District worksites across Manatee County.
The winners were surprised by Communications Specialist Melissa Parker.
Our Good News Support Heroes each received a certificate and a $50 VISA gift card, provided by the Manatee Education Foundation.
