'Blast the FAST' Pep Rally

Rogers Garden-Bullock Elementary School hosted a high-energy pep rally last Friday to encourage students to finish the year strong.

Special guests included Marty from the Bradenton Marauders and the school debuted a new Rockets mascot, who wowed the crowd with their chant, "Blast the FAST."

Principal Escorcia announced that prizes would be given to select students, including those who improve their test scores and others who earn the highest grades in language arts and math.

After the pep rally took place, Carolyn Wilson, the school's GET (Graduation Enhancement Technician), took a group out to lunch as a reward.

Nearly twenty students, with perfect attendance this school year, were invited to Outback Steakhouse on Cortez Road in Bradenton.

Before boarding a school bus for the field trip, each one signed a thank you card for the restaurant manager.

Principal Michael Escorcia joined the students for lunch.
