Southeast High School seniors Aiden Little and Thomas Navarro teamed up to win the Class 3A Doubles Tennis State Championship in April 2021. Both received recognition from the School Board of Manatee County during their regular meeting on June 22nd. The title is a first in the Seminoles’ 62-year history, according to Athletic Director Kevin Lynum.
Little and Navarro went undefeated for the entire season before clinching the championship with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Doral Academy. Both graduated high school this year and plan to continue their successful tennis careers in college.
