An exciting new school year is ahead for students and staff at Lincoln Memorial Middle in Palmetto. Approx. 200 families attended the “Explore Lincoln” Open House on Tuesday, July 27th. Parents were eager to learn more about the Medical Magnet program, which is new for the 2021-2022 school year. Crista McGraw, a teacher and former nursing instructor for Manatee Technical College, says the highlight of the evening was showing off the school’s new Anatomage Table, a 3D anatomy and dissection tool.

The Medical Magnet program serves as a springboard for students, 6th through 8th grades, toward a successful medical career. School leaders are looking forward to building a foundation for students to explore the world of healthcare. During the open house event, Lincoln Memorial Middle families also received information about the school’s diverse electives which include agriculture science and band.
