The school (security) guardian at Kinnan Elementary School is leading a new flag team called the "Stars and Stripes Squad".
Students are learning about the American flag and promoting respect for it. The photo above shows the students at the flag pole before school.

According to the National Flag Foundation, red symbolizes hardiness and valor; white symbolizes purity and innocence; and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice.
