The Big Bad Wolf and The Three Little Pigs showed up at school this week. Pre-K students in Ms. Kopinsky's class learned the art of retelling a story. There were lots of big smiles as the wee ones re-enacted the beloved fable.

Nolan Middle School:

nolan gifts

Members of Nolan FBLA, a club for future business leaders, wrapped more than 100 donated gifts. They also enjoyed hot chocolate, fellowship, and the spirit of giving. The gifts will be delivered to deserving students in Manatee County schools who need a little help for the holidays. Way to give back!

Another newsworthy story from Palm View! In just more than a week, Olympia Baylou and her science students raised approx. $700 for the Mayors' Feed the Hungry Thanksgiving Fund Drive. "These students SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT," said Mrs. Baylou. "

This event really shows that our staff and students care a lot about their local community."

Pre-K and kindergarten students climbed into the driver's seat of an ambulance this week. One of the parents is a paramedic and brought a few community helpers to show off the life-saving equipment that first responders use every day. A great career learning opportunity!
