Students who are members of the SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Promise Club at Daughtrey Elementary are making their school a safer and more welcoming place. SAVE Promise Clubs are student-led organizations educating and empowering students to promote positivity and inclusive school culture.
Daughtrey Elementary's club members held their first event for the 2021-2022 school year to celebrate "Start with Hello Week". Students enjoyed breakfast while listening to a deputy from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. They also made a tree using their traced hands as leaves with kind words written on each one. The collage is on display in the hallway for all students to see.
