The vibrant and uplifting mural, depicting our beautiful coastal community, symbolizes hope, strength, and support.

Through this project, students not only showcased their creativity but also learned the value of giving back.

"This experience has been truly inspiring for our students," said Kimone Cooper, Principal of Electa Lee Middle School. "It is a powerful reminder that art can bring people together and make a real difference in the lives of others."

Mrs. Meinberg and her students dedicated weeks to planning and painting the mural, ensuring that it would reflect the mission and values of Under One Roof, a community partnership expected to offer transitional housing and social services.

At the center of the artwork is the word "Resiliency," which signifies the capacity to withstand or recover quickly from difficulties.
