Lee Middle School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is asking for your support in helping our deployed troops.

The students want to make a difference in the lives of those who are courageously serving our country.

They have partnered with Operation Gratitude to provide letters, socks, snacks and other small items for nearly 12,000 care packages by year's end.

New items can be dropped off during business hours through December 8, 2023, at Lee Middle School, located at 4000 53rd Avenue West in Bradenton.

Suggested items include puzzle books, crew length socks, yo-yo's, or small plush toys in sealed or original packaging.

Others may want to write a letter, or draw pictures for the deployed service members.

There's also an online donation website, curated by Lee's FBLA to purchase snacks and small toys, which will be sent directly to Operation Gratitude.

Technology teacher, Dawn Foster, suggests other Manatee County schools may host a collection site at their campus and arrangements will be made for pick-up.

Please contact FBLA advisor, Dawn Foster, for more information.
