Nolan Middle School is one of only 19 middle schools in the entire state which has earned a special award.
The Florida Music Education Association recognizes and awards schools who demonstrate high student enrollment in music courses.
Enrollment criteria for middle schools is at least 45% of the total FTE and high school criteria is 35% of total FTE, which stands for full-time equivalent.
49% of their students are enrolled in music education classes.
