The Manatee High Student Council, with support from fellow students, organized a food drive aiming to surpass last year's total of 5,280 items.
Each first-period class competed for a shot at winning a prize. Ms. Granstad’s class clinched the top spot, followed closely by Ms. O’Leary’s class in second, and Ms. Swart’s class secured third place.
The collective effort demonstrated not only a commitment to surpassing previous achievements but also a spirit of unity and generosity within the community.
And as the Ramen Noodle drive ended, there was a total of 6,466 packets that were collected.
All packets were donated to Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT).
