After an exciting summer training led by the Inwater Research Group, sixth grade classrooms across Manatee County are making waves with the Turtle Quest curriculum!

Teachers examine science lessons covering a classroom table.According to Amber Platowski, Curriculum Coordinator, students are taking on the role of sea turtle researchers—engaging in hands-on, real-world science that brings the classroom to life. From forming predictions to tagging turtle models and studying specific sea turtle species, our future scientists are immersed in every step of the scientific process.

We’re so excited to "sea" our students fully engaged, inspired, and making meaningful connections through science!
