After an exciting summer training led by the Inwater Research Group, sixth grade classrooms across Manatee County are making waves with the Turtle Quest curriculum!
According to Amber Platowski, Curriculum Coordinator, students are taking on the role of sea turtle researchers—engaging in hands-on, real-world science that brings the classroom to life. From forming predictions to tagging turtle models and studying specific sea turtle species, our future scientists are immersed in every step of the scientific process.
This incredible, inquiry-based program allows students to explore the risks facing sea turtle populations while building critical thinking and research skills.
We’re so excited to "sea" our students fully engaged, inspired, and making meaningful connections through science!
