PCHS Bulletin - Logan Hagood

Date Published - October 8, 2025

The first official day of fall was September 22, 2025. However, fall trends were already in full swing at PCHS!

Halloween is coming up and so are fall trends such as pumpkin spice drinks, Halloween decorations, cool costumes, etc. But what is your favorite?

Based on an Instagram questionnaire, several students shared different opinions on their favorite fall trends.

For example, Sophomore McKayla Kvapil at PCHS said, "I love carving pumpkins and picking out an outfit for Halloween.”

Pumpkins are a common fall trend as Sophomore Lucy Prater said, "My favorite fall trend is all the pumpkin flower things and Starbucks menu."

This is fitting as National Pumpkin Spice Day was celebrated on October 1.

For those who don’t like the pumpkin trend, they may enjoy apples like Junior Audrey Lennox. She said, “We go to Michigan and pick apples in apple orchards."

We might not have true fall weather yet, but other trends include sweaters and flannels.

Junior Lainey Wilson, said she loves "the sweaters that are the colors of the leaves with different prints."

Others prefer their comfort shows like Senior Niemah Jackson’s love of watching Gilmore Girls.

For those enjoying the fall season, there is plenty of time to enjoy these trends and more. There are more fall activities on the way such as Halloween and related Halloween events.
