With her first-place finish in the Olympic lifting category, Zoey Morelli (Jr.) locked up a third consecutive States berth for Traditional and Olympic, representing Parrish Community High School once again in the season-end state tournament.  

She will be joined by Madeleine Frazzini (So.), who clinched her second straight States trip for Traditional. 

Morelli will return to Lakeland on February 11-13, 2026, where last year she earned the silver medal in the Olympic category. 

As for Parrish overall, they placed 9th in Traditional and 6th in Olympic at the Class 3A Region 6 Meet at East Lee County High School on January 29, 2026. 

  • Zoey Morelli (Jr.) - 1st in Olympic (top lifter) and 2nd in Traditional 

  • Isabella Garcia (Fr.) - 10th in Traditional 

  • Remie Joseph (Sr.) - 9th in Traditional 

  • Maya White (Sr.) - 3rd in Olympic and 8th in Traditional 

  • Samantha Taylor (So.) - 10th in Traditional 

  • Sophia Thomas (Jr.) - 4th in Olympic and 6th in Traditional 

  • Madeleine Frazzini (So.) - 7th in Olympic and Traditional 

  • Riley Lee (Jr.) - 5th in Olympic and 7th in Traditional 

  • Morgan Maguire (Sr.) - 7th in Olympic 

  • Ariyana Reeves (Jr.) - 8th in Olympic 

  • Selin Meric (Jr.) - 9th in Olympic 

“We had 14 girls compete at regionals, which alone is a big accomplishment,” Head Coach Remi Hebert said. “Many athletes also hit new PRs at their final meet of the season, which was great to see.” 

Hebert has full faith in Morelli and Frazzini to “trust your training and embrace the moment,” and believes their previous States experience will help with that.” 

“They understand the environment and what to expect heading to States,” Hebert said. “They work extremely hard, love to lift, and enjoy competing...as a coach, my role is to support and encourage my athletes, remind them that making it this far is already an accomplishment, and help them compete with confidence and enjoyment.” 

As the season comes to a close and States loom, the team also took a moment to celebrate its five seniors: 

Janie Crum 

Crum has lifted for the past two seasons, training with Full Circle Performance Club. She is a member of DECA and also volunteers with her church’s youth group. 

Crum plans to stay in Florida after graduation and enroll in nursing school. 

Remie Joseph 

Joseph is completing her third year of lifting for Parrish. She is an avid baker and loves to try new recipes. 

Joseph plans to go to college to become a behavioral veterinarian. 

Morgan Maguire 

Maguire has lifted for the last three years and served as team captain this season. She is involved in SGA, HOSA, and additionally volunteers in the middle school ministry at her church. 

Maguire is set to graduate with an associate’s degree from SCF and plans to stay in Florida to pursue a medical career. 

Maya Uralil 

Uralil has lifted in all four years for Parrish. She has been heavily involved on campus, serving as Vice President for HOSA, A-Team, and Key Club, and additionally holding membership with the Asian Culture Club, Senior Advisory Board, and National Honor Society. 

After graduation, Uralil plans to study finance/business at the University of Florida. 

Maya White 

White has also lifted in all four years for Parrish. She is a part of the girls’ lacrosse team and a member of the Asian Culture Club. 

White plans to go to FAU after graduation.
