HOSA Advisor April Thornton provides that the first, second, and third place competitors are eligible to compete at the state competition April 16-19 in Orlando.
With all these competitions, there is always a lot of stress put on the competitors. Senior Maya Uralil shares her experience at the regional competition: “The environment during competition is always stressful because you have so many people there, and you have to try and navigate it. It’s also nerve wreaking beside you see the other people you will have to go against.”
Now with states coming up soon, this means that the club can’t stop practicing just yet.
“We will still have our meetings to ensure everyone is studying and staying on track. As states get closer, we will have study sessions after school so they can practice “ Uralil says.
