The 2026 year’s prom will transport students into a world of enchantment. Magical, elegant, beautiful, and a time to make amazing memories. The theme for this year's prom came out on Friday, Jan 23 for an “Enchanted Evening”.
Prom is an amazing time just to have fun with friends and enjoy a night after a stressful school year. Prom is being held on April 11.
Prom is planned and hosted by the Junior Advisory Board (JAB). They work incredibly hard to make the night as special as it can be. There are 25 members under the guidance of club advisory Bailey Lovesky.
Lovesky and the rest of the board members are working to send out information for students in an organized and timely manner.
Kendal Williams said, “JAB does a really good job promoting prom. We do fundraisers to help raise money.”
There was a flash sale for prom tickets at the beginning of February. Students are encouraged to follow JAB’s social media pages and join the Schoology group page for information about future flash sales and other information.
JAB can be found on Instagram with the handle pchs_jab.
The Schoology group code is RWQW-Z3FZ-JM4G9. This page has directions to purchase tickets, guest forms, frequently asked questions, and prom King and Queen information.
JAB is not the only student organization working hard to make prom special. The PCHS Student Government Association (SGA) is also contributing with “Project Prom.”
SGA posted on their Instagram page, “Prom attire is meant to be worn more than once! Don’t let them sit in your closet! Donate today!”
They are collecting lightly worn prom dresses and suits to donate to students who may not have the means to purchase their own. Donations will be collected by SGA in Amber Ridenbaugh’s classroom, one of the SGA advisors, until April 2 in room 6-125.
