The start of spring marks a busy and exciting season for the Parrish Community FFA Chapter. February concluded National FFA Week (Feb. 21–28), a time dedicated to promoting the organization while celebrating engaging activities. Highlights included a visit from the chapter’s officer team to local middle schools, where they introduced prospective students to the agriculture program at PCHS, as well as the first annual “Battle of the Boots” relay contest.
The momentum continued into spring break, as members participated in the inaugural Mixon Farmer’s Market. Students showcased their hard work by selling a variety of plants grown in the school greenhouse, including coleus, succulents, and ferns.
Adding to the chapter’s accomplishments, chapter president Emma Spivey made PCHS history as the first ever state officer candidate from the program. The chapter proudly supports her as she pursues leadership at the next level.

With a strong start to the season, the Parrish Community FFA Chapter looks forward to finishing the school year with continued success.
