PCHS Bulletin – Brooklynn Deckman
Date Published – April 1, 2026
The Lady Bulls Softball team returned to the diamond not long after Christmas break to try and avenge their early exit in the state semifinals last year, which ended their attempt at a three-peat after winning back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024.
Following spring break, the Lady Bulls faced a strong Calvary Christian team on March 24, falling 2-0 in what Mackenzie Pandelo (Jr.) said would be a “tough game.” Since then, the team has rattled off wins in three of their last four games to improve to 9-3 on the season.
Pandelo added her name to a short list of PCHS softball players committed to continue playing softball in college, announcing her commitment to Tennessee Tech University on March 19.
“I love the area and the coaches,” Pandelo said. “I’m really excited for that chapter of my life.”
In addition to Pandelo, Baylee Fields (Sr.) is committed to Lake Sumter State College and Emmaline Van Beck (Jr.) is committed to Florida International University. Fields will be honored at home on April 15 prior to the regular season finale against Berkeley Prep.
We’ll keep you posted as the season rolls on for the Lady Bulls.
