Bulletin: Clubs

PCHS Bulletin – Logan Hagood

Date Published - April 6, 2026

The PCHS Red Cross club is a group of students committed to health, safety, and community service.

Red Cross Club Advisor Alicia Kleiner says, “The goals for the club are to complete community service projects to help those around us, to encourage others to donate blood and/or become CPR certified, and to have fun with other students who like making a difference.”

This years' service projects included a “Holiday for Heroes” drive in November where students wrote holiday cards to veterans to spread holiday cheer to our retired military service men and women. Additionally, they held a sock drive in March to support homeless veterans.

The sock drive will likely be the last big project they do, but there are always volunteer opportunities for students to earn more community service hours.

There are three club officers: President Nicole Lima Gonzalez (Sr.), Vice President Sophia Urdaneta (Jr.), and Secretary Marcela Vieira (So.).

Nicole Lima Gonzalez says “the goals for this club is to do community service and make students feel included.”

Students interested in joining the club should speak to one of the officers or to Kleiner in room 6-119.
