“You Herd It Here”
PCHS FFA

As Parrish Community begins to wrap up the school year, their FFA chapter is still in full swing with awards, contests, and activities. The chapter was very excited to host Florida FFA State President Hope Storter and Florida FFA Area V State Vice President Lyla Bent at their March chapter meeting. Members got to participate in several activities and hear the wise words of their state officers. The chapter conducted a school-wide plant sale at the end of March selling a variety of plants grown by students at PCHS. The sale did very well, and members were excited to show off their hard work in the greenhouse.

Parrish is beyond proud to share that one of the chapter’s advisors, Mrs. Grainger, has been announced as a state finalist for the 2026 FFA Advisor of the Year award. Mrs. Grainger will receive recognition in June during the Florida FFA State Convention for her hard work and the results!
