It is a wrap for the Bulls Theatre Company. After their amazing showing of the spring musical Cinderella, BTC ended the year with their annual Bruizer Awards and introduced next year’s officers. Additionally, they held auditions for next year’s fall cast for “Into the Woods” and announced Spring 2027’s musical “SpongeBob.”

Cinderella took place over the span of two weekends, the longest running show in BTC history. The show was a huge success, with every show hitting a full house.

Junior Jomari Coleman said, “This was my first principal role, and I enjoyed every moment of being the king. I got to make friends and memories I never thought I would have, but now that I look back, I do not know what I would do without those memories.”

Director Olga Pena said Broadway Stars of the Future (BSF) recognized the production with “fantastic reviews... with advanced and mastery scores in every category, and 5 spotlight achievement recognitions.”

These spotlight recognitions include Jovie Gaddis, Hailey Lipham, and Da’Rion Whipper for Performances in a Lead Role for Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, and Christopher respectively. The ensemble was also recognized in addition to the musical direction under PCHS Band Director Ron Lambert.

While in the mix of the musical, the advanced theatre showcase took place, showing a plethora of dramatic scenes, songs, and group numbers.

Finally, the year concluded with the annual Bruizer Awards. The awards night included best performance awards, director awards chosen by Pena, and senior spotlight performances.

The new officers for BTC were also announced for the 2026-2027 school year.

Preparation is already underway for the next school year with the announcement of the Thespian Troupe 10185’s fall 2026 musical “Into the Woods” and Spring 2027’s spring musical reveal of “SpongeBob.”
