Students at PCHS have a new face to look at for the 2026-2027 school year. Tiffany Gallegos has joined the agriculture team to bring her experience and passion to the classroom. Gallegos will also be joining as an advisor in FFA.
What school are you coming to us from?
I taught for 16 years in Georgia but in Florida, I taught at Williams Elementary for 6 years.
How long have you been teaching?
I’ve been teaching for 22 years.
What was one thing you were most excited about when becoming a PCHS bull?
Joining the FFA program that is already established at PCHS.
As the year starts, what is one thing you are most excited to teach in your class?
I’m most excited about teaching a little bit about everything. Since I am teaching intro-level agriculture foundations, I get to do a little bit of everything instead of doing one specific thing.
What made you want to become an agriculture teacher?
Teaching students real-life application lessons, giving students more opportunities to get outside, and providing hands-on learning experiences.
What do you hope your students take away from your class?
Increase self-confidence, awareness of what agriculture is, and how they can contribute to it, and motivation to learn more about the industry.
How do you hope to make an impact at PCHS?
Make people feel seen, welcome, and excited to be a part of such a great community.
Gallegos can be found in room 5-112. She brings positive energy to the agriculture class and the FFA club.
