Seniors are encouraged to join the Class of 2027 Schoology page to stay up to date on all information to ensure a successful senior year.

The countdown to graduation is officially underway, and the Class of 2027 has a full slate of updates to keep track of as senior year hits its stride. From upcoming deadlines and policy reminders to details on major end‑of‑year events, this recap pulls together the essential information every senior needs to stay prepared and on pace for the finish line.

Joining the Class of 2027 Schoology group is the smartest move as every link and form to fill out is waiting for you on that page. It also includes posts from your PCHS college and career advisors as well as counselors with essential information like early decision application deadlines for our very own Florida universities. If you haven't already joined, that code is FNVM-SKGT-SBZBN.

Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 7:30pm at LECOM Stadium. The mandatory graduation practice will be on Monday, May 17 and following that on Tuesday, May 18, students can get their cap and gown as well as their tickets. Each student receives up to 10 tickets. To ensure your special day goes smoothly for everyone, fill out the cap and gown basic form now! You can find this form in the Class of 2027 Schoology group.

Grad Bash now has an official date to celebrate PCHS seniors! On Friday, April 23, students will leave PCHS at 2pm and will return around 4:15am. If you're interested, it is important to know that tickets are limited to 150, and the sale will open in January. Due to the limited number, it is first come first serve. Each ticket will be $225 with food, drinks, and souvenirs at an additional cost.

Senior year requires senior fees to ensure all activities, expenses, and Cap and Gown can be made possible. The school collects fees through RevTrak and, surprise, you can find that link on the CO 2027 Schoology group with the dates and amount of each fee which consists of three total payments for the year. Psst, you can get a discount for paying early!

Don't forget to purchase your senior yearbook and ensure your portrait will be in the yearbook by getting your senior session done before December 31. This must be scheduled through CADY Studios. You can find additional information about yearbook photos on the PCHS website under the seniors tab. Yearbooks as well as senior ads can be bought at the link in the senior Schoology group. The cost of a yearbook is $90, and it is advised to order it now before prices increase in December.

Be sure to remember and use your senior advantages to the most by knowing how to be exempt from finals. This applies to second semester only, and you must have at minimum an 80% in the class for quarter three as well as quarter four.

If college is your next step after graduation, it is highly recommended to use Common App. Seniors applying to colleges that require an official transcript must follow different procedures depending on the institution. Florida public universities that do not use STARS or SPARC allow students to request transcripts through FASTER using their FOCUS login on a desktop or laptop, with no fee, and students should check the History tab to confirm the school can receive it. Those completing the Common App will have their transcript uploaded by their counselor, but most Florida public universities still require students to self‑report their academic information through STARS or SPARC, and applications will be marked incomplete if this step is skipped. School counselors cannot email transcripts to students, parents, coaches, or college representatives, and all seniors will be responsible for ordering a final transcript at the end of the year if their college or technical program requires one. For private or out‑of‑state colleges that cannot accept transcripts through FASTER, students must request records through the district’s online portal and pay any associated fees.

PCHS staff, especially your counselors and college/career advisors, are there to help and support you, use that to your advantage!

Though senior year can be stressful, don't forget to still live in the moment. Senior year is a pivotal year in a person's life. It is the close of one chapter and the start of a new one. Wherever your future takes you, make sure to never forget to follow your passions and let them drive you to success! See you at graduation Class of 2027!
