Back to School Night
Join us on Thursday, August 8th for our annual Back to School Night. This is event will provide families the time to drop off supplies, meet the teachers, and tour the campus. Various business partners will be on campus in the cafeteria as well as our amazing PTO, where parents can sign up to become a volunteer. A-M is from 4-5:30pm and N-Z is from 5:30-7pm to allow enough space for the families of 1421 kids! The Citizens Financial Oversight Committee ensures proper fiscal stewardship of the voter approved 1-mill ad valorem tax, as provided by Florida Statutes. Members cannot be employees of the district or have a conflict of interest with the committee’s work or charter.

During their workshop on April 8, 2025, the School Board discussed the proposed Academic Calendar options for the 2026-2027 school year.

Guidelines for “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day”
Parents must notify the school in advance for their child to receive an excused absence. Due to student testing, SDMC employees cannot participate.
