Purpose of the Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge Program is designed to help students make a smooth and confident transition into high school by offering targeted academic support, skill-building, and orientation before the start of the school year.
Our program focuses on:
Strengthening key academic skills, particularly in literacy and critical thinking
Providing structured, face-to-face learning experiences in a supportive environment
Helping students become familiar with high school expectations, schedules, and resources
Building confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging
Encouraging positive peer connections and relationships with staff
Ultimately, the goal is to ensure students are academically prepared, socially confident, and ready to succeed in their high school journey.
