To register for the current or next school year, please follow the instructions below.
Online registration submissions are automatically routed to your zone-assigned school registrar.
If you want to register at a school other than your zone-assigned school, please see School Choice.To register for a charter/contract school, do NOT use the SDMC online registration. You must contact the Registrar at the charter/contract school.
VPK Students

Current K-12 Students
Students are automatically re-enrolled at their current zoned school for the next school year. Please make sure that your address is correct in FOCUS. If you have a change of address, your zoned school may change.
Inactive Returning K-12 Students

Please follow these registration steps:Step 1: Gather and Scan Required Documents
Gather and scan the documents listed on the Registration Checklist before you start online registration. You MUST have all of these documents to complete your registration.Step 2: Submit Online Registration
Online registration requires a FOCUS account with a valid email address. For best results, please use the Google Chrome browser. Follow directions closely and be prepared to upload the required documents. At the end, you will get an email stating that your submission was received.
For Parents that do NOT have a FOCUS account, and have never enrolled a child in the School District of Manatee County.
For Parents that already have a FOCUS account, with a child enrolled in the School District of Manatee County. To enroll an additional child, login to FOCUS. After the student's information has been verified by SDMC, the registrar at the zoned school will send a confirmation email with the school start date.
