LRHS demonstrated success in all of these categories. For instance, the school maintains a 97% graduation rate and a 77% college and career acceleration rate.

LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist stated, “This impressive achievement is a direct reflection of the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and community,

He continued, “Our commitment to academic excellence and fostering an environment where every student can succeed is at the heart of this accomplishment.”

According to the FDOE, “[College and Career Acceleration Rate] is based on the percentage of graduates from the graduation rate cohort who earned a passing score on an acceleration examination (qualifying Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), or Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)), earned a passing grade in a dual enrollment course that qualified for college credit, earned 300 clock hours through career dual enrollment courses in the same approved program, earned an Armed Services Qualification Test score and two course credits within the same military branch, or earned an industry certification.”

LRHS has maintained an “A” rating for the past seven years.
