(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)— The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) class of 2029 is one of the largest in the past five years.

All 695 freshmen came to school on Aug. 11  for their first day of high school.

Freshman year is where students build the foundation for their future, whether it be in a classroom or outside of school. With this comes many uncertainties.

Sophomores were in their shoes only a year ago. Sophomores across the campus offer advice for in class of 2029 on how they can succeed this school year.

Sophomore Amelia Harvey said, “Focus on your classes and pay lots of attention to your teachers.”

Sophomore Blake Hooker said, “Make good friends.”

Navigating the 50 acre LRHS campus can be difficult for freshmen.

Sophomore Jordan Jendro said, “the campus is really big, but you’ll get the hang of it eventually.”
