Milly Harvey – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held its first meeting Aug. 26.

Mustangs were greeted with a warm welcome and Dunkin’ Donuts and cookies.

Over 100 students attended the meeting and crowded the room. Leaders of the club were introduced to everyone.

Sophomore Ashlan Kuell said, “The most thing I’m excited for in FCA is to get closer with God and create a strong foundation and relationship with Him and get closer to other people that are in this school and to get to school early and to start off my day very positive, hearing the Lord’s word.”

To be a part of FCA, Mustangs must fill out club papers and get them signed.

In the final moments of this introductory meeting, leaders gathered all students and played a biblical game of “Would You Rather.”

As a Christian club, leaders prayed at the end of the meeting for Mustangs to have a great and prosperous day.
