Many new swimmers had the chance to try new events and get the feel of a high school swim meet experience.
Freshman Leah Abrams said, “The meet was different than what I expected it to be because it is my first high school meet, but I feel like it is a really good start and a really good beginning.”
Head Coach Paul Sochin said, “We witnessed a strong athletic performance today in swimming! It was great to see the tightness, determination, and strength of our team. We had great performances all around with a high level of confidence and sportsmanship.”
The next meet is scheduled for Sept. 10 for a home meet at the YMCA against Parrish.
