Caroline Bartlomiejczuk- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) cross-country team had a successful meet on Aug. 30 at the Venice High School Invitational.
The team had outstanding performances -
Girls' varsity placing sixth
Girls' junior varsity (JV) placing second
Boys' junior varsity (JV) placing third
Boys' varsity taking the first-place trophy.
LRHS Coach Bill Zarrella said, “They worked hard all Summer and have a great team this year.”
He’s especially proud of the camaraderie and the way everyone supports and pushes each other.
“The team is happy with this week's win and are looking forward to the next meet at Holloway Park in Lakeland, FL.”

Freshman Simon Krusewski said, “The meet was super fun, there was a bunch of people and hanging out and running with everyone was a blast. Everybody ran very hard today and did their best and everyone there was super supportive.”
