(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Leading officers of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) are particularly visible on the Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) campus thanks to special lanyards.
These lanyards show people around school who they are. Officers wearing lanyards offer a quick prayer to anyone who needs it.
The lanyards, which feature FCA’s bright colors (blue, red, and yellow), symbolize leadership and commitment within the organization.
“They are meant to be an easy way for kids in the hallway to spot us FCA officers and ask for a quick prayer or even any questions they have about the Bible,” said junior Kayla Goodwin.

The new lanyards were introduced this year to help identify FCA leaders and make them more approachable to students.
FCA meets weekly at LRHS, giving students a space to grow in faith, build friendships, and encourage one another. The new lanyards serve as both a sign of responsibility and a reminder of the group’s presence across campus.
