(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Mustang students have given their hot takes and expectations following the first two weeks of the National Football League (NFL) 2025-2026 season.

The NFL is extremely popular in the United States and is without a doubt the most viewed and watched sport in America, with around 17 million viewers who tune in to each game. The Super Bowl is the biggest game of the year with around 100 million viewers each year.

As the second Week of NFL Football has come, we’ve seen each team's strengths and weaknesses.

Junior Bryson Baas, a New York Giants fan, gives a hot take: “The Giants will make the playoffs, and Jaxon Dart will carry them all the way there. I also think that Dart will become the Giants franchise player.” The Giants, who have started by losing their first two games, are renowned as being one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Junior Johan Marines shares his prediction. “I believe that the Dallas Cowboys are going to win the NFC East and smash the Giants in week 18.”

The Giants and the Cowboys are division rivals and always have great games.

Junior Vaibhav Akkinepally gives his bold prediction, stating “I think the Green Bay Packers will have a deep run in the Playoffs this year after just signing Micah Parsons. Their defense looks genuinely unstoppable.”

The Packers, who are already 2-0, have been dominant.

Junior Elise Kudelko said "I think it's going to be the Ravens from the AFC, I want the Bucs to make it deep, but I don’t think they will. I’m really upset that Joe Burrow is out, he was one of my favorite players.”
