(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), is a student led organization that helps middle and high school students develop personal, leadership, and career skills through Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS).
The FCCLA at Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) holds meetings about once a month on Fridays, and their schedule can be found on the LRHS website. They meet after school in room 534.
In their last meeting, on Sept. 12, they went over all the basic information about the club.
Senior Chapter President, Yulia Morales says, “I'm really excited for the year because I get to see a lot of new faces as well as familiar ones. I am excited for everyone to get together and learn more about FCCLA.”
There is a $30 affiliation fee that club students must pay on Rev Trak (Due Sept. 26) as well as multiple forms that must be signed and turned in.
