(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Spanish Club wrote letters to a school in Argentina last meeting on Sept. 12.
Addison Wible, Senior and Spanish Club President, said, “It was a great experience for cultural connection and exploration for not only the kids in our Spanish Club but also for the kids in Argentina, and I’m so proud and happy this was something our club could provide.”
The officers of Spanish Club came up with the idea and with club adviser and LRHS Spanish teacher Ivanna Klammer’s relations in Argentina she was able to reach out to a friend from Argentina who now teacher in a high school there.

Klammer said, “I would like the Spanish Club members to learn more about the lives of Argentinean youth: what they do in school, what their daily routine looks like, and to what they do for fun. I would like them to see that they are probably more like them than they realize.”
The members of Spanish Club sent letters to Escuela Media EES 3 in Escobar, Buenos Aires province in Argentina last week.
