Avery Stewart – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) girls soccer season is right around the corner, so here are a few things to know before trying out.
Tryouts will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 14-16. They will be at the Braden River/Premier soccer fields for all three days.
Players are required to wear all black. No club apparel, LRHS apparel, or shorts from lululemon are allowed at any of the tryouts.
Head Coach Cole Richardson wants every player to bring cleats, shin guards, sneakers for the fitness tests, and a water bottle to stay hydrated.
The most important thing that Mustangs must complete before any tryout is to have “practice only” or “cleared” status in Athletic Clearance. Mustangs can access additional information here.

Mustangs can also prepare for the upcoming boys soccer tryouts.
Players should bring proper cleats, socks, shin guards, and water for the tryout.
Players are prepping in different ways and are excited to be back for High School soccer.
Junior Gabe Csogi states, “To properly prepare for the tryouts, I'm making sure that my fitness level is up by going to the captains practice and training harder with my team than usual.”
Boys' soccer tryouts are Oct. 14-17 from 2:45-5:00 p.m. at the soccer fields by the Gym. Players must be cleared before tryouts.
