(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) — Motivational speaker Brooks Harper held a presentation Wednesday with the Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) class of 2026.
Harper has visited LRHS multiple times in years past and has spoken to many schools in Manatee County. He announced that by the end of this week he will have spoken to every school in the district.
“Turn learning into earning and your passion into a paycheck," Harper said. He spoke on how most people who make good money hate their jobs and encouraged students to find careers that align with their interests.

Mustangs also heard from representatives of multiple colleges as well as the director of the Manatee County Humane Society on the endless opportunities available for students after high school.
“I thought that assembly was extremely informational,” said senior Elliana Willner. “All of the speakers had a ton information to share, and I feel like I learned so much.”
