(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Silver Stars have been prepping their dance performance for the Pep Rally Oct. 30. This is their opportunity to showcase their skills to the entire school.
The Silver Stars will perform their pom routine, a high-energy dance designed to ignite school spirit. Their practices have been extremely rigorous, with the team focusing on sharp, synchronized movements and flawless transitions.
"We've been working very hard to make our pom dance the best it can be to show the school who we are and what we are capable of doing," said captain Katie Welte.

The team has incorporated challenging new choreography that pushed them to their limits and included skills designed to impress the whole school. Extra practice sessions have been common, as the Silver Stars strive for perfection. They emphasize teamwork and mutual support, ensuring that every member is confident in their performance.

Mia Morelli - Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Varsity Mustang Cheerleaders' prepare for Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Homecoming Pep Rally on Oct. 30.
With homecoming week here, the cheer team has been dedicating extra time to perfect their performance.
On Mondays, practice is held from 2:40 – 4 p.m., focusing on their routine and elite stunt sections. They also meet on Wednesdays, first practicing a special performance with the Silver Stars dance team from 3 - 3:30p.m., and then finishing with their own routine run through until 4.

Junior Angelina Welp has spent time choreographing a dance section for the cheerleader's individual performance, while Senior Captain Kaeli Richardson has planned formations, helped with timing, and has marked positions making sure the entire routine runs smoothly.
Freshman Savannah Rogers added, “The dance was pretty quick to pick up. I think Angelina did a great job putting it together so quickly. I'm also really excited to preform especially since it's my first pep rally.”
As the pep rally approaches, the LRHS Varsity Cheer team continues to practice with determination.
On Oct. 30, the cheerleaders are ready to take to the gym floor delivering a high energy performance before the annual homecoming football game at 7:30 p.m.
