(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS Mustangs are very excited as Halloween is approaching this weekend. However, it is very important to be extra cautious and stay safe during a weekend like this.
Halloween being on a Friday this year gives students a whole weekend to celebrate. This also doubles the amount of time needed to be extra careful.
While out having a good time, it is important to be mindful of what you're doing. Whether walking around or driving, it is extremely important to pay attention to the surroundings. The streets will be filled with kids walking around but also dangerous drivers.

People should also watch their surroundings and the people they are near; not everyone has good intentions. It is recommended to have a group of people and stick together at all times.
“I think it’s important to make sure you communicate with your parents and keep them updated on what you are doing, so they know you are safe,” said senior Madelynn Lee.
