Addison Gentz - Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) varsity football team played their final regular season game against Bayshore High School.
The Mustangs won 28-21.
The Mustangs won the scored the winning touchdown in the final minute after have lost a 21-point lead.
Mustang Head Coach Paravincini was thrilled to win the final game of the season, and said, “It’s awesome to send the seniors out on a high note. We lost a couple close games earlier in the year and it felt good to finally close one out.”

Paravincini also said, “In my opinion, football is the greatest game to teach about life. Bad things are going to happen; you can either stand in the face of adversity and battle through it or be someone who hides in the corner and one of those people is gonna be successful.”
Seniors were asked about their final season playing for the Mustangs.
Senior Louka Coue said, “Football has made me a better man.”
When asked about a highlight from this season, Senior Judah Galessiere said, “Getting the interception just now for my final game of senior year, it's a big moment.”
Galessiere later added, “I am happy to have completed my journey here.”

Senior Queen - Mariana Alvarez-Cortez
The final season record for the Mustangs was 4-6 (1-3 in district).
