(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event at Nathan Benderson Park on Nov. 15.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's walk is a series of fundraising events organized by the Alzheimer's Association to support Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

The LRHS FBLA Adviser and vocational teacher Sharelies Rodriguez worked in memory care before becoming a teacher.
Rodriguez said, “Having worked in memory care in the past, I saw firsthand how meaningful even a simple show of support can be. Moments like Saturday remind me why community matters.”
