Mia Morelli - Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Registrar Kirsten Martin has been recognized as an Excellence in Education staff finalist. Excellence in Education is a district-wide rewards program designed to promote teachers, administrators, and support staff.
“I am so thankful for the recognition and of everyone who supports me on a daily basis,” Martin shared. “...winning this award means that I am doing something right and hope that I can just improve from here.”
She’s quick to highlight how her success comes from the team at Lakewood Ranch.

“I couldn’t do the job that I do without the support of many people from the clerical staff to admin, and of course all of the support from (LRHS Principal) Mr. (Dustin) Dahlquist. We really have a great group of people to lean on around here.”
Her work extends beyond the office as Martin also works closely with LRHS varsity, junior varsity (JV), and competitive cheer teams.
She makes it a priority to uplift and communicate with everyone, “I try to create a positive environment with open communication so that everyone can be heard and appreciated.”
As she moves forward as a finalist for this award, her commitment to the school stands out as a reflection she brings to LHRS every day.
