The play began as a normal performance of “The Murder at Haversham Manor”, when mishaps and chaos led to increasingly ridiculous situations as well as a plethora of jokes.

As part of the chaos, props fell and broke, a stage hand refused to leave and towards the end, the very set itself fell apart in a dazzling spectacle that delighted audiences.

One of the stagehands, Fernandez, said, “The cast and crew were super welcoming and fantastic. Everyone’s dedicated and hard work was definitely shown and everyone should be so proud of themselves for the stunning show.”

Christie said he, “loved the controlled chaos of the show.”

Pineda reflected on her performance, “It was really fun, considering this was the first one I actually got to say a lot of lines in.”

Her practice involved constantly repeating her lines “every single day, every single night, I would just be reading my lines”.

LRHS Theatre drama director Jess Lubbers said he hoped the performers learned “to improv and play along as things do actually go wrong or go exactly as you planned.

“I hope that they get a good sense of trusting other actors because you had to have faith someone is going to catch you if you fell or help you get off stage if you were on the ground,” he continued.

LRHS Theatre has plans to produce “Frozen the Musical” in the spring.
