Vaibhav Akkinepally – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lakewood Ranch High School Mustangs boys basketball team is off to a rocky start.
The Mustangs lost 65-32 to Bayshore High School at home, starting the season 0-1.
Junior Jack McCartney is confident the team can bounce back.

“Nobody has seen us at our best at all,” he said. “I’m excited to show everyone how hard we worked and I’m excited about the potential we have.”
Mustang Head Coach Kaden Knott said the long season calls for patience.
“We’re going to focus on growth and effort,” he said. “That’s our priority this year…growth and effort.”
