(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) — Lakewood Ranch High School seniors are beginning to receive their letters from universities, and Friday, Dec. 5 is one of the most anticipated decisions.
The University of Central Florida (UCF) is one of several major state schools that will make their announcements within the next few weeks.
LRHS senior Mariana Alvarez said, “UCF is a great school, and I am really looking forward to seeing my decision and possibly attending next year.”

LRHS seniors are sharing emotions of excitement and fear leading up to the release of the decisions.
LRHS senior Erika Walters said, “I am really excited and nervous to see my decision. I am hoping for a good outcome as these decisions come out.”
UCF is scheduled to release this anticipated information at 6 p.m. via their Future Knight Portal.
The following week two other big Florida universities, Florida State University (FSU), and University of South Florida (USF), will be releasing their early action decisions. USF will be released on Dec. 10, while FSU will be released on Dec. 11.
