(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) ended Winter Spirit Week with Friday being "Ugly Sweater and T-shirt Day."
Mustangs have shown winter spirit throughout the week, and many enjoyed participating and showing creativity for the holidays.
Senior Lily Storace said, “my sweater has a grumpy cat showing holiday cheer and I chose this one because I thought it was funny and wanted to have holiday spirit while dressing up this week.”
Mustangs also expressed appreciation for time to relax and have fun before the stress of exams.

“I am so happy I could show off holiday spirit and have some fun before exams,” said senior Ian Ordonez- Leon
Student Government Association (SGA) adviser and LRHS vocational teacher Tommy Cuervo said that was one idea behind the week.
“I think it's been a good week,” he said. “It's nice to see the students have some fun before the stress of exams. We look forward to continuing this winter spirit week tradition in years to come.”
