Hailey Gouin – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) 2025 science fair was held Thursday in the school media center.
This event exhibited student research in the science, engineering, and mathematics fields.
The fair was orchestrated by science teacher Alexandra Wilcoxson with the help of additional instructors at LRHS.
To enter, students needed to join the Schoology group and complete forms, and it was open to all students and all grades.

“The science fair is open to all students at LRHS, and we have an Science and Engineering Fair (SEF) Club and Science National Honor Society (SNHS) to help support students through the process. We also have students from AP Research and Technology classes competing,” said Wilcoxson.

Behavior and Social Science: Tasnim Zahin, Keaven Zheng, Madison Bowen
Biomedical and Health Science: Selma Onus, Faith Finnegan, Sophia Finnegan (partner)
Biomedical Engineering: Addison Wible
Chemistry: Payton Casto, Gianna Weldon (partner), Wrenn Pevzner-Downer
Physics and Astronomy: Landon Caruso, Ariana Pressimone
Plant Science: Lillian Pevzner-Downer
Robotics and Intelligent Machines: Sophia Mitchell.
These winners are eligible to move onto regionals and compete for awards and scholarships.
