Jordan Jendro and Avery Stewart -Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) girls' soccer team enjoyed a successful week.
On Dec. 10, they beat Lemon Bay 4-2.
Freshman Kiley Mulligan, freshman Alyssa Pistone, junior Isla Stewart, and senior Aubrey Mau all scored with assists by Pistone and junior Merritt Shea.
“I feel like we took a lot of shots in this game which helped us score many goals. I feel like if we continue to play like this then we will end up winning even more games” says junior Isla Stewart.

On Dec. 12 the girls had another away game against Venice, and they won 4-2.
Pistone and junior Jessica Squitieri both scored, along with Shea with two goals. There were assists from Pistone and junior Julia Mulligan.
“I think that collectively as a group we all played really well and that showed in our final score. I also think that we connected really well throughout this game which helped us to win against Venice,” said junior Julia Mulligan.
On Dec. 16 they have an away game scheduled against their rival, Braden River. On Dec. 18, they have a home game against Palmetto, which is also an alumni night.
