(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Dual Enrollment Night took place on Feb. 10 in the Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Auditorium.
Dual enrollment allowed students and parents to learn about the dual enrollment programs offered on- and off-campus.
Dual enrollment is for students who -
Are academically inclined and self-motivated
Are currently on track for graduation
Are in good standing with attendance
Are mature, resilient, and exhibit good time management skills
Meet all requirements outlined by each Dual Enrollment institution
LRHS offers Dual Enrollment programs from three different local colleges that have partnered with the school. The schools include the University of South Florida (USF), State College of Florida (SCF), and Manatee Technical College (MTC).

Dual enrollment night gave students perspective on what to choose for their classes next year.
Sophomore Milana Johnson said, “When I attended the dual enrollment night, I became extremely confident in my decision to take dual enrollment classes. It helped me learn all the opportunities available to me.”
