(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) girls basketball season is not over yet as they move into their first game in regionals.
The Lady Mustangs took a tough loss in their first round of districts last week against the Charlotte Tarpons. Charlotte won the game 55-40.
The Mustangs fought hard throughout the whole game. The two teams were neck and neck most of the time until the very end when they got out of reach.

After losing that game, the team thought their season was over but were soon surprised when they found out the next day they got a regional bid.
The Lady Mustangs next game is scheduled for Mitchell High School on Friday, February 13.
